Engaging Local Communities across North America to Reduce Marine Litter

Since 2017, the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC) has been raising awareness, supporting local action, and developing tools to address the problem of land-based marine litter in North America. During this webinar, the CEC will present tools available to help communities, cities, and organizations take action locally and raise public awareness about the journey of litter to the ocean. We’ll share how our work in Toronto has taken action to reduce marine litter, and also be joined by speakers from Mexico and the United States.
