Taylor Creek Clean Up

Join Don’t Mess with the Don, the U of T Trash Team, PortsToronto, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and Swim Drink Fish to clean up the banks of Taylor Creek. Snacks, drinks and garbage tools will be provided. Pease bring sturdy footwear, long pants, hat, sunscreen and a reusable water bottle.
- Date: Sunday, June 11th, 2023, from 10am – 1pm
- Location: Taylor Creek Park parking lot (at the end of Haldon Avenue)
The goal of this cleanup is to remove litter from Taylor Creek, preventing it from traveling to the Don River, into Lake Ontario, and to our oceans via the St Lawrence River. We all live in a watershed and are connected downstream to the lake and ocean by streams, rivers, and stormwater.
This clean up is supported by the Commission for Environmental Cooperation’s Reduction of Marine Litter Project.
