We love bringing waste literacy out into the community! By reaching an audience of diverse stakeholders we can empower people and motivate changes to reduce plastic pollution.
You can find our organization out in the community in a variety of formats, from cleanups events, to presentations, workshops and info tables at public events. These are delivered with the support of our volunteer ambassadors or research assistants; students in leadership roles trained to represent our organization. You might also spot our researchers out in the community carrying out projects to tackle plastic pollution both upstream and downstream.
Just look for us in the navy t-shirts with the raccoon on them, and please come by to say hello and ask questions. We love to share what we are up to and why!
